In her role as an advocate, Venita ensures that claims are handled efficiently by acting as a crucial link to claims administrators, overseeing the accuracy of reserves and facilitating clear communication. Additionally, she focuses on educating her clients about best practices in claims management, empowering them with the knowledge and resources to make informed and responsible decisions regarding their Workers’ Compensation claims.

Venita has over 7 years of experience in California Workers’ Compensation claims management. She began her career as a claims examiner with a large insurance company, where she developed a solid foundation in claims processing. Driven by her passion for supporting employers, she transitioned to a claims advocate role on the broker side.

Following this, Venita joined a global professional services firm, where she consulted on Workers’ Compensation claims for national accounts, successfully reducing reserves and facilitating efficient claim resolutions. She currently serves as a Senior Claims Advocate, continuing her commitment to helping employers navigate the complexities of Workers’ Compensation.

Education

Venita earned her B.S. in Criminal Justice from California State University, Los Angeles. She subsequently pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a concentration in Organizational Leadership and Management from California State University, Northridge.
